Wrexham Tourist Information Centre

TG Williams Builders Ltd

Wrexham’s new Visitor Information Centre (VIC) has now officially opened its doors to the public.

The facility, based on Chester Street, launched at the end of August and is now open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm.

It aims to showcase what is on offer across the county borough and provide information and help to locals and those visiting the area.

As well as facilities to signpost visitors to what the county has to offer, the new VIC also has ‘flexible space’ which has been designed for events such as food demos and workshops as well as office space upstairs.

The centre relocated to Chester Street from Queens Square in 2021, after work creating a new state-of-the-art facility for visitors and tourists was completed. The name has changed from an older ‘TIC’ tourist information centre, to more visitor focus – so VIC.Councillor Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s Lead Member for Economy, said: “The VIC will be a wonderful resource for both residents and visitors, and we’ve been working really hard to get this facility open.
