Building North Wales Communities Together

Connecting project delivery for the public sector

image

Building
North Wales
Communities Together’

The North Wales construction partnership is the second local authority-driven construction framework in the region and will build on the award-winning work that has already changed how construction projects are procured in the region. The management of the Framework is led by Denbighshire on behalf of the 6 North Wales authorities and may also be utilised by other public sector bodies across the region, increasing the value for money it provides and the wider benefits to the region.

Our ambition is to secure improvements to the built environment through delivery of best value, energy efficient, sustainable facilities; utilising the highest possible safety and environment standards, innovation and collaboration, whilst creating a lasting legacy through targeted investment in employment and communities.

The framework will support the development of a new generation of construction professionals, to help develop a sustainable environment for contractors and continue with its ethos of openness and flexibility, which has already been achieved through engagement and two-way communication between the authorities and contractors / suppliers.
