Ysgol Acrefair Ancillary Building Refurbishment

BrynBuild

Brynbuild successfully delivered a comprehensive refurbishment of the ancillary building at Ysgol Acrefair, commissioned by Wrexham County Borough Council.

Completed between February and August 2025, the £443,000 project included major structural repairs, a new roof, upgraded M&E systems, high-performance windows and doors, and a new Juncker’s sports floor in the Main Hall. The scheme also addressed long-standing damp and drainage issues, improved accessibility, and enhanced external landscaping and finishes.

This project exemplifies NWCP’s commitment to building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities across North Wales. It supported local employment, promoted the Welsh language, encouraged mental health awareness, and diverted 99% of waste from landfill—delivering real social value alongside high-quality construction.
